Camera Obscura-French Navy single (2009)

Luisa Mandou um beijo- (2005)

"Luisa mandou um beijo" means "Luisa has sent a kiss" in Portuguese. Lovely Brazilian pop band with female vocals, and a brazilian vibe in their songs, it could be a "Brazilian Chamber Pop" but with more power guitars and energy. Highly recommended!

Bricolage-Some songs and singles

Bricolage started playing live in some of Glasgow’s seamier environs at the tail-end of 2005, perfecting their louche and stylish Postcard / Vic Godard - influenced uplifting pop over the early months of 2006. By the summer of 2006, live dates had seen them play live with an eclectic array of artists (including Fire Engines, Long Blondes and Sun Ra’s Arkestra), which helped build up a following.

If you like Spanish pop bands as Vacaciones, Juniper Moon, Nosoträsh, this is a band you should try listening to, beautiful jangly guitars with lovely female vocals with strong influences as Love and American Spring, with a little Breeders hint and pop melodies like Beachwood Sparks.

Personally, one of the best indiepop bands from Greece. And sadly they only managed to release a 7" EP in 1994, "Don't Let them Kill Our Taste..." They later split up in 1997.

Marine Girls-Lazy Ways/Beach Party (1997)

Formed in 1980, they released their debut album "Beach Party" in 1981. Snapped up by indie Cherry Red, their follow up and last album was "Lazy Ways" released in 1982. From this springboard, Tracey Thorn formed Everything But the Girl with label mate Ben Watt.

One classic and definitely a must have!!
